Refund policy

Cancellations. You can cancel an order at any time before it is dispatched by emailing itishpande21@gmail.com with your order number. We will refund the full amount, including any delivery charge, to your original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled, because the chocolate is already in transit and cannot be returned to stock.

Returns. MELTYK is a perishable food product made in small batches. For food safety reasons we cannot accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered, and we cannot resell a box that has left us. This does not affect your rights where something has gone wrong with the order, which is covered below.

If something is wrong with your order. We will replace it or refund it in full if the box arrives damaged, if the chocolate has melted or bloomed in transit, if you receive the wrong flavour, or if an item is missing. Email itishpande21@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photograph of the box and its contents. The photograph is the only thing we need; you do not have to send anything back to us.

Heat and melting. Chocolate is sensitive to heat and Indian summers are hard on it. We pack accordingly and dispatch early in the week to avoid parcels sitting in a warehouse over a weekend. If your box still arrives melted, that is on us and it is covered above. We are not able to cover a parcel that was delivered successfully and then left in the sun or in a vehicle after delivery.

How refunds are paid. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay, our payment partner. Razorpay typically credits the amount within 5 to 7 working days, though your bank may take longer to show it. We will email you when the refund has been initiated.

Failed payments. If money leaves your account but the order does not appear, do not pay again. Banks usually reverse a failed payment automatically within 5 to 7 working days. Email us with the payment reference and we will trace it with Razorpay.
